Things to know before you Spray Tan
You should shave the day before your
spray tanning
appointment. Shaving the day of could cause open pores to become saturated with the tanning solution resulting in tiny brown dots on your legs, underarms, face or wherever you may shave. You should also exfoliate your skin the day before your
spray tanning
appointment. This is to remove any of the dead skin cells on the surface or epidermis layer of your skin. Removing these dead skin cells will help you have a natural even looking even tan, and maintain the spray tan for a longer length of time. You can do this the day of your appointment as well, but we recommend that you exfoliate the day before for better results. You can use a simple loofah/exfoliator to do this or we do sell a wonderful highly recommended exfoliant here at OC Mobile Spray Tan that can be purchased and used before future spray tans. It is imperative that you refrain from using make-up, lotions, perfumes and deodorants prior to your spray tanning appointment or remove them before your appointment as these act as barriers to the tanning solution and have been known to cause white spots.
OC Mobile Spray Tan
will provide you with a cleansing cloth if you have these on prior to your spray tanning appointment. Please wear either a dark colored swim suit, bikini, boxers, underwear, or trunks to spray tan in. Spray Tanning can be done in the nude if you prefer to have no tan lines. However, those under the age of 18 must wear the appropriate attire to spray tan in. Sorry, no exceptions! OC Mobile will arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to set up our equipment. We can either spray tan you outside or inside. We do come with a pop up mobile spray tan tent that can be set-up anywhere you like. It is ideal to spray tan you in your bathroom shower/tub. We do recommend that after your spray tan that you wear loose dark colored clothing as the initial bronzer tends to rub off on light colored clothing. We also ask that you do not bath, shower, swim or get wet for at least 12 hours after your spray tanning appointment as this will cause the spray tanning solution to wash off leaving you with streaks and an uneven spray tan.
